Mounties Group and Good360 team members have rolled up their sleeves to pack and deliver over 800 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students across the Central Coast, Northern Beaches and South-West Sydney.

The packing initiative is an annual tradition for Mounties Group, who this year supported Good360 with a $125,000 grant towards their Community Hub, located in Western Sydney. The profit-for-purpose and not-for-profit organisations joined forces to pack and deliver backpacks – filled with essential school items including art books, workbooks, pens, pencils, calculators and more – to ensure students in need will have the best possible start to the 2026 school year.

At a time when 25 per cent of New South Wales schools are classified as “high- concentration disadvantaged”, up from 22 per cent in 20171, initiatives like these are essential in supporting students in feeling less ostracised and better set up for success alongside their peers.
Mount Pritchard East Public School in Western Sydney received 40 backpacks, with ten delivered to their senior students and 30 delivered to juniors. Assistant Principal, Tina James, expressed her gratitude for the support at a critical time for many families:

“We’re incredibly thankful to Mounties Group and Good360 for providing our students with high-quality backpacks and school supplies. Acts like this support our families and help our students feel confident and ready to learn.”
Steve Fitzpatrick, President of Mounties Group, said the initiative reflects Mounties Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting children and families across the region: “Mounties Group has always believed in strengthening and supporting our local community wherever we can. Ensuring every child has the tools they need to learn is a simple but powerful way to do that. I’m proud of the 30-strong team that worked alongside Good360 at their Smithfield warehouse for a full day of packing, making a real di_erence for families who needed a little extra support this year. It’s wonderful to close out the year seeing the joy from both parents and students when delivering their backpacks.”

Over 100 backpacks were delivered to students at Northern Beaches schools, Manly Vale Primary and Stewart House. 320 backpacks were delivered across South-West Sydney to Mt Pritchard Primary, Mt Pritchard East, Cabramatta High, Cabramatta Primary, Bonnyrigg Primary, Liverpool Boys High School, Liverpool Girls High School, Hoxton Park Public, Lurnea High School and Fairfield Public School. Over 160 backpacks were delivered across the Central Coast, to Wyong High School, North Lakes High School, Terrigal Primary, Wamberal Primary, Toukley Public, Gorokan High School, Narar Valley High, Lake Munmorah Public, Tumbi Umbi High, Arndell School and, Mannering Park Public. Wilcannia Junior and Senior Schools received 111 backpacks.
